Tuition 

Due to the increased costs and decreased class sizes required to keep us all as safe as possible, class prices have increased. Instead of per session, tuition will now be billed monthly.  The monthly fee is the average of 9 months of classes, divided equally (regardless of 2 or 5-week months). Autopay can be set up on your account online, for your convenience.

HUMMINGBIRD

Thursday 3:30 - 4:30

Hummingbird (5-6 years) is the beginning aerial class for our youngest flyers. Games, creative movement, strength and skill building are combined for a safe and fun entrance to aerial apparatus.

Prerequisites: none. 

 

SWALLOW

Monday 3:30 - 4:30

Swallow (7-8 years) allows slightly older beginners to be challenged while still focusing on the joy of aerial play. Creative movement guides our introduction to skills and sequences on  silks, trapeze, rope, and hoop.

HERON

Saturday 9:00 - 10:00

Heron  (9-11 years) is the perfect place for your older elementary student to get through the awkward beginnings and find the fun in the air. Building strength through skills and sequences on silks, trapeze, hoop and rope, students are supported and challenged.

Prerequisites: none. 

 

EAGLE

Thursday 6:30 - 7:30

It is never too late to start! Eagle (13+) is an introductory class and safe space for teens to be beginners. Working on silks, rope, trapeze and hoop students are presented appropriate opportunities and challenges to build strength and creativity.

SEA OTTER

Tuesday 3:30 - 4:30

Sea Otter  (6-7 years) is the next step after Hummingbirds, challenging our youngest flyers who have mastered the basics and are hungry for more! Working on silks, hoop, rope and trapeze students continue to build strength through play.

Prerequisites: Climb on fabric, knee hang on trapeze. 

 

DOLPHIN

Tuesday 4:45 - 5:45

Dolphin (8-9 years) challenges the young intermediate aerialists ready for more complicated sequences and difficult skills on  all apparatus. Safety and fun remain priorities as student begin to express themselves individually.

Prerequisites: Footlocks on fabric, straddle in the air.

NARWHAL

Thursday 4:45 - 6:15

Narwhal (10-12 years)  students have graduated from learning basic wraps, climbs, poses, and qualities of movement. A longer class time allows serious students to build confidence, strength and flexibility is developed through skills performed on silks, trapeze, hoop, and rope  at greater heights with longer sequences. Students also begin to develop skills to express their unique voice in performance.

Prerequisites: Wheel down, full skin the cat. 

 
 

ORCA

Friday 3:30 - 5:00

Orca  (13+) is an intermediate teen class for those older students still building the strength required for more complicated skills. This is a safe and exhilarating environment to build confidence and coordination using silks, trapeze, hoop and rope.

Prerequisites: Climbs on fabric, knee hang, straddle in the air.

NOVICE COMPANY

Wednesday 3:30 - 5:30

The Novice Company is an opportunity for serious students, skilled in aerial artistry, strength, flexibility, and performance professionalism to experience the responsibility and reward of being part of a company. They train once a week on all apparatus, continuing to develop skills, choreography and individual performance presence. The Novice company is central to end of year productions both as performers and behind the scenes.

APPRENTICE COMPANY

Wednesday 5:45 - 7:45

The Apprentice Company is the next step in company membership and artistic development. Students demonstrate technical and artistic excellence, both on the floor and in the air with multiple apparatus.  The Apprentice Company may audition for larger roles, creatively and technically,  in the end of year productions and begin apprenticing with the Empyrean Aerialists' performances with small roles and technical support. Apprentice Company members are expected to train twice a week, in the Apprentice Company class as well as an additional class or open gym.

EMPYREAN ARIALISTS

Monday 4:45 - 6:45

The Empyrean Aerialist is the most advanced performance class at Le Cirque Centre, and a touring company. These students exhibit a commitment to deepening their technique, strength, artistry, and professionalism in class and in performance.  Students continue to refine their skills on apparatus, moving beyond the execution of skills, to storytelling, character development, and physical innovation. Physical and emotional safety elicits a deep level of individual expression that prepares students for their future as performers and humans. Empyrean Aerialists are expected to train three times a week, (Empyrean Aerialist class, Cirque Fit, and an additional class or open gym).

 

Prerequisites: Instructor Approval. 

 

CIRQUEFIT

Tuesday 6:00 - 7:15

Cirque Fit challenges intermediate and advanced students to increase fitness and body awareness. Using current training methods, students use aerial apparatus, body weight, active flexibility and cardio exercises to build strength and resiliency.

AERIAL DROPS AND FLAIR

Friday 5:15 - 6:45

This class for experienced teens and adults will focus on learning new drops, tricks and sequences on aerial fabric. Finding the transitions in choreography will challenge students to expand their vocabulary!

 

Prerequisites: Instructor Approval.

ADULT AERIAL

Tuesday 7:30 - 9:00

In this all-levels class, adults can have flying fun too! Skills and sequences are taught and modified so that students can feel how fun getting strong can be. Aerial silks, trapeze, hoop and rope will all be used at different times.

SOAR OVER 30

Monday 7:00 - 8:30

Have you always wanted to try, but think you aren't strong enough? This is the perfect class for you! Aimed for the 30+ crowd who can't do a pull up, we will build the strength you want, while you are distracted by the fun of flying!

Time to practice!  This is a supervised open space to review material learned in class at Le Cirque Centre. There will be NO INSTRUCTION, only safety supervision during this time. Experienced aerialists who would like to train may have access by contacting LeCirqueAshland@gmail.com.
